I have seen so many beautiful and unique Tiffany Blue themed weddings and parties over the past couple of years. It is such a beautiful color, and I spent several hours thinking of ways I could incorporate it inside my home. After some research, I fell in love with the Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze spray paint. I did several projects with this paint, and I am excited to share them on this blog.
For the first project, I used:
- Plate, bowl, and candle holder from Dollar Tree
- Gorilla Glue
- Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze Spray Paint
- Krylon Looking Glass Spray Paint
- Mod Podge Pearlized Glaze
- Zinsser Odorless Primer Sealer
****Don’t forget to clean and prime the dishes first if any of you will try this project at home. I have made this mistake before, and the paint chipped off. The primer will help the paint adhere to the dishes.
While the paint on the dishes were drying, I painted the candle holder with the Looking Glass paint. I love this spray paint because it gives the glass a mirror look.
I waited about 24 hours before I glued everything together. Then I sprayed the finished project with the Mod Podge glaze.
I love the way this project turned out. I may use it to hold my jewelry or as a table centerpiece.
For the next project, I used:
- Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze Spray Paint
- Mod Podge Pearlized Glaze
- Zinsser Odorless Primer Sealer
- Fine Grit Sandpaper
- Scrapbook Paper
- Wooden Tray
I started by sanding, priming, then spray painting the wooden tray. I traced the shape of the tray on the scrapbook paper so that the paper could fit into the bottom of the tray. Then I finished the tray by spraying it with the Mod Podge glaze.
These were two very easy projects to complete. The hardest thing I had to do was wait while everything dried. I love the color of this spray paint, and I am looking forward to using it on other items in my house.
