I had a lot of fun doing this simple craft project using black and turquoise chalkboard paint and wood shapes I bought from Michaels. All I had to do was use two coats of the paint on the shapes and let them dry about an hour between each coat of paint. You can do this project with children and let them write fun messages on the chalkboard.
