My family of three lives in a townhouse, so I try to keep our small space as organized as possible. We spend a lot of time in the living room, and I wanted to make something that would help keep some of the books, magazines, and toys off the floor. I saw a few rolling crates online that I loved but couldn’t afford to buy, so I decided to make one of my own.
I used the following supplies:
- 12″ x 9.75″ x 18″ unfinished wood crate
- 4 caster wheels
- 16 small screws
- wood glue
- 8.5″ wood letter
- Rust-Oleum Hammered Spray Paint (Gold)
- Drill
I started off by spray painting the crate and letter.
I waited a few hours for the letter and crate to dry, then I glued the letter onto the crate with wood glue.
I asked my husband to drill the screws and wheels because he is much better at using power tools than I am.
Here is the finished crate:
***Crate bought at Michaels with coupon, Letter and Spray Paint bought at Walmart, Wheels bought at Amazon.com
