Seashell Crafts

My family and I recently took a vacation to the beach. We had a great time, and I wanted to do something to commemorate our weekend getaway. I decided to collect some seashells and do two very simple craft projects that cost under $5 to make.

The first project was the seashell ball. I used the following supplies:

  1. 5 in. styrofoam ball
  2. seashells
  3. accent gems
  4. rocks
  5. Gorilla Glue

I glued the shells, rocks, and gems onto the ball. I had to let each part dry section by section so nothing would fall off.

It took a while for everything to dry, but here is the final result:

The second project included using two candle holders, accent gems, and rocks all from Dollar Tree, plus seashells from the beach.

All I did was layer each section into the glass jar. Once the jar was full, I turned it upside down onto the glass plate.

I put both projects on a shelf in my bookcase. I think they are both excellent reminders of my trip.
