Who’s ready for Halloween? I know that I’ve been preparing for the spooky day by searching for costumes, overeating candy, and making lots of decorations. I’m using today’s blog post to show a few photos of the Halloween decorations I made over the past couple of weeks.
Halloween is one of the best opportunities to show off your creativity. You can make scary decorations, or you can opt for something that is a little bit more light-hearted. I tend to make decorations that are more suitable for children since I have a young son at home.

Halloween Mugs
I made the images using my Cricut Explore Air and some adhesive vinyl. I bought the clear mugs at a dollar store.
Halloween Candy Tray
Fill up a large serving tray with some of your favorite Halloween candy. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been eating way too many sweets. Eating all of this candy makes me feel like a child again and brings back fond memories of trick-or-treating with my siblings.
Halloween Home Decor
I’m currently decorating my fireplace mantel. The letter balloons were purchased at Party City. I made the paper bats out of some black scrapbook paper. I’m trying to make most of my Halloween decorations simple and non-scary this year.
Halloween House
I filled up this shadow box house with lots of Halloween stickers, scrapbook paper, embellishments, dried moss, etc.
I call this my Halloween Goody Board.
All I did was paint a wood board that I already owned, hot glued some pieces of string on it, and then added some Halloween treats and stickers. My son likes this project the most because of the lollipops!
And that’s it! Thanks for viewing my Halloween projects. I work on a lot of things throughout the week, and sometimes I think it’s a good idea to just simply share a few photos.
