Wood Frame Memo Board

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another fun and simple craft project. Today I am showing you how I turned an old canvas frame into a memo board.

Check out the tutorial below.

Supplies:

  • Wood Frame
  • Chalk Paint
  • Jute Twine
  • Staple Gun
  • Paint Brush
  • Mini Clothespins
  • Fine Grit Sandpaper

Instructions:

  • I reused a wood frame that was a part of a canvas. All I had to do was remove the canvas fabric. You can also purchase bare wood frames at craft stores.

  • Next, I painted the wood frame with chalk paint. I love the light blue color!

  • After the chalk paint dried, I lightly distressed the frame with fine grit sandpaper. Then I stapled jute twine strings on the back of the frame and added the mini clothespins to the twine.

  • Finally, I added cards and other fun things to the frame and hung it on my wall.

How cute is this craft project? I love the way it turned out. The best thing is that it was very easy to make, and I already had all the supplies in my house! I can’t wait to add more photos and decorations to the board.

If you like this project, please feel free to share. Thanks, and have a great day!
