Paint the Ocean

I am not a professional artist. I am not great at drawing, and you will not find my work hanging on walls in art galleries. With that being said, I wanted to do this simple art project for my son’s room that did not require a lot of work or skill. I think this is a fun and easy ocean/beach themed project that you can do with children without worrying about making mistakes.

I used the following supplies for the painting

  • Chipboard ( 19.5″Lx8″W)
  • Light blue, blue, yellow, and white acrylic paint
  • Seashells
  • Beach theme stickers

I painted the bottom part of the board with blue paint. I painted with a sweeping motion to make it look like waves.

Then I painted the top part with light blue paint.

I used the white paint to create clouds and waves. The yellow paint was used to paint the sun.

I added some stickers and seashells for decoration.
