This project is all about painting and positivity. I love encouraging quotes and affirmations, so I decided to paint myself a sign that I could hang on my wall. It will be an uplifting reminder to create daily and continue to use my gifts and talents.
I used the following supplies:
- Acrylic paint (colors: Pool Blue, Coral Reef, Yellow, Peacock Blue, Lilac Mist, New Shamrock Green)
- Wood Plaque (bought at Michaels)
- Paint brushes
- Pencil
- Sharpie Paint Pen (White)
- Flower Stencils
I began by painting the plaque with the Pool Blue paint.
Once the paint dried, I used the stencils to draw flowers on the plaque.
Next, I painted the flowers.
Then I wrote my quote on the plaque using a pencil and paint pen.
Here’s the finished painting:
