I have been a crafting machine over the past few weeks. I enjoy making lots of projects for Valentine’s Day. Handmade gifts and decorations are the best. I wanted to use this blog post to share with you some of the work I completed this month. I don’t always have time to post every craft project I make, so I plan on dedicating Fridays to showing off more of my fun creations!
- I love wrapping gifts for Valentine’s Day!
- I bought a couple of $1 notepads and decorated them with hearts and other designs. I think these are easy diy gifts for children to make for their classmates.
- I had some red and white yarn left over from Christmas, so I made a pom pom garland.
Here are some more of my favorite Valentine’s Day crafts from past posts:
Have an awesome Valentine’s Day! Please feel free to comment below and share.
I love celebrating and decorating for Valentine’s Day. I own lots of little wood hearts and scrapbook paper that make the perfect decor for February 14.
Supplies I used:
- Wood Hearts
- Scrapbook Paper
- Wood Burning Tool
- Mod Podge
First, I used one of the wood hearts to trace on the scrapbook paper.
Next, I cut out the paper hearts and adhered them to the wood hearts with Mod Podge.
After the glue dried, I used a wood burning tool on the sides and edges of the hearts.
Finally, I added bow embellishments to some of the hearts.
I love the how pretty the hearts are, and I can’t wait to show them off for Valentine’s Day!
Hello February! Love is in the air as we get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Thinking of unique gifts to make for this month is such a fun challenge for me. I love hearts, and I enjoy using them in my craft projects. When I saw some gloves in the clearance section at a craft store, I knew they would look adorable with some hearts sewn on them.
Disclaimer: I am not a sewing expert. I have very basic knowledge and limited sewing supplies, but this project was easy enough for a beginner like me to do on my own.
- Stretchy Knit Gloves
- Needle and Thread
These two pairs of gloves only cost me $1 each!
1. Draw hearts on the felt sheets. The size of the hearts measure about 2.5 inches.
2. Cut the felt hearts out with scissors.
3. Put a felt heart on a glove. Keep the heart in place with a pin.
4. Use the needle and thread to hand sew the heart on the glove. (Repeat this step for each glove.)
5. The gloves are now ready to wear! Enjoy!
I love decorating for holidays and other occasions. I had a lot of unused red decorations left over from Christmas, so I decided to decorate the mantel above my fireplace. I made some new projects, but a lot of the items were things that I already owned or made for other blog posts. These ideas can be used not only for a mantel, but for any space in your home.
For the first project, I made a garland for the mantel by tying 5″ strips of red and white tulle around some Christmas lights.
The next project I made was a 12″ heart-shaped wreath covered with red burlap.
I wrapped the burlap around the wreath and secured it with red pipe cleaner.
Two more projects were made with products from Dollar Tree.
I painted the frames red using Krylon Dual Paint+Primer. Then, I glued together glass bowls on candle holders and filled the bowls with plastic heart gems.
Finally, I arranged all the items together on the mantel.

***Candy jar tutorial can be found here.
I wanted to share this idea with anyone who wanted to make a unique Valentine’s gift for loved ones or find a fun way to decorate for Valentine’s Day. I think mason jars are a great way to display candy and other items. I loved pairing the jar with the lamp shade.
I used the following items:
I began by poking holes into the lamp shade with a safety pin to give it a starry effect.
Next, I poured candy into the jar.
Then, I screwed the adapter on the jar.
Finally, I screwed on the lamp shade and light bulb. Here is the finished lamp:
I love doing crafts for Valentine’s Day. There are so many ways that I can express my creativity, and make gifts for loved ones. I buy a lot of craft supplies throughout the year so that I will be ready for holidays and special events like Valentine’s Day. For this particular project, I used a 14″x18″ canvas, red paint pen, and a paper stencil to create beautiful and easy art for my living room.
This is a very easy project. It only took me a few minutes to complete.
All I did was paint the letters and shapes on the canvas using the paint pen.
Instant Valentine’s Day art!
