Yarn and Flower Wreath

I wanted to make a wreath for Thanksgiving that was simple and pretty. It seems like stores and advertisements jump from Halloween straight to Christmas. Also, a lot of the Thanksgiving craft projects I’ve seen are more for children than adults. This wreath won’t have any turkeys, but it will be something that can stay on my door throughout the holidays.

I began by gathering all the supplies: 10 in. foam wreath, white yarn, artificial flowers, straight pins, and burlap ribbon.

Next, I wrapped the white yarn around the foam wreath until the wreath was completely covered.

Then, I added the artificial flowers and leaves. I used straight pins to secure the flowers to the wreath. I didn’t want to use glue because I plan on reusing the materials for future projects.

Finally, I made a bow out of the burlap ribbon and pinned it to the top part of the wreath.

Here’s the finished wreath:

I love how this wreath turned out. I can’t wait to show it off to my friends and family!
